Day 1
Door: gevanotterdijk
30 April 2016 | Zwitserland, Zürich
Today was a good day. Me and my dad left early in the morning (9 AM), heading towards Zürich. Although we had a lot of distance to cover (670km), the journey passed swiftly due to some well timed breaks. One stood out in particular: The Rheinfall at Schaffhausen, Switzerland. After refreshing ourselves with some food and drinks we brought from home (cheese sandwiches), we stopped to admire the beautiful waterfalls. In the end, the trip took us about 10 hours before we arrived at my new home for two weeks.
Settled down there, we went out for dinner at Rosso (italian food), which had the best pizza's in Zürich according to Bart (my cousin/host/contact at Google). That was proved true after a tasty pizza. As soon as we finished our meal, Bart showed us some other fun places around Zürich. When we all felt pretty tired after a long and exhausting day, we went back to the apartment and prepared for the next day.
Excited for tomorrow!

Mom:
Wow son, you surprise me! Nicely written, that first blog of yours.
Usely we get the 'yes', 'no', 'oke', 'good' - version :):)
But good to read that your first day of your Zurich-adventure was fine!
Beautiful waterfall picture.
Enjoy your stay over there...

Truus:
Hello Ge
Its nice to read your journey. I hope you like the stay in Zurich at Bart.
I know him well enough to say he is a very fine host. But then he is also my son.
Did you see the Zurich sea yet? And off course you must try some switch chocolate.
Sorry my Engilish is not so good as yours...so I end.
Have a fine week and wish Bart also many greetings from us.
Your aunt Truus from Belgium
