Day 7

Today was diverse day. As we left for work in the morning, with the sun shining and the temperatures quite high, I was in a good mood to start the day. Only to find out that all of the tramlines to Google were cancelled due to construction work. The bright side being the sun (haha. No one? ok.).
Like I mentioned yesterday, we had the afternoon off because of Bart's hard work. This enabled us to have a relaxed day at Google, followed by a walk to the lake. When we arrived at the lake, it was really busy. Part of that being that today was one of the first days of good weather this year, which brought many people (including us) to enjoy their day at the lake.
We settled down in a bar floating on the lake. This was kind of nice as you could keep your feet in the water whilst enjoying a drink. Even the scenery there was on point, as you could see the snowy mountains in the distance, the temperate climate in the forests and finally the summer feeling on/near the lake.
Later on, when we were done getting sunburned, we went back to Hardbrücke (same area where we ate pizza's last saturday), to spend a great part of the evening aswell as enjoy our meal. Since we went there by bicycle, we toured around the city on our bikes, after we fished eating, and had a good look at many of the popular places in Zürich.
Not sure wat we're going to do tomorrow, but if it'll even be half as good as today, It would still be amazing. Forward into tomorrow!

Hi Gé,
Pretty cool to have a drink while floating on the Lake of Zürich. I may have an interesting task for you when your weekend is done. Because your are the right person at the right spot (to ask assistence from your Google-colleagues).
Can you fix me a Go Pro app that will work on my Chromebook? I noticed that still a lot of apps don´t work on a Chromebook, and this one is the one I miss the most for my work. (So I can see what I am filming).
So maybe Bart and his team can solve this problem. Seems to me that they will find this a tantalizing challenge.

Its seem to me that you have a fine holiday in Zurich. Nice weather, great eat, walking, cycled, see the highlights of the city..and of course very good company. Here in the Netherlands it is to day the warmest place from Europa. Its to hot outside so I read your blog and I wroth a little...
I wish you and Bart a fine evening and for tomorrow a lazy sunny Sunday !
